Performance Reviews
It’s performance review time! This can be the most exciting or most stressful time of the year for employees all around the world. Most likely, it’s a combination of both.
Today, it’s March 6 and Chris had his performance review. He’s been working as a Marketing Coordinator for two years now and didn’t know what to expect going into 2023. This blog is an attempt to merge writing with real-time sounds chronicling Chris’s experiences. The other half of it requires your imagination to take over and put yourself in his shoes. Although this is Fundamoment’s first go at this, it’s what will make stories of future experiences feel more authentic going forward.
With that being said, grab a snack, close your eyes, and envision yourself sitting at a desk prepping for a performance review at Redapt, Inc as a second-year Marketing Coordinator. The sun is out, you’re in your apartment, and you don’t know what to expect. What you do know going into the virtual Zoom call with your manager is that you’ll be discussing the impact you made on the organization the past year, expectations for the coming year, salary and bonuses, Redapt’s goals, and next career steps.
